BRANDY REEVE Marketing Director
A seasoned and energetic marketer with a passion for working with seniors. She is the Marketing Director at Senior Commons with the responsibilities of establishing and building relationships within the community and developing trusting relationships between residents and their families. Brandy has a background in home health care marketing and was also was a hospice liaison. Prior to joining Senior Commons, one of her positions was the Director of a Dementia neighborhood. Brandy has over a decade of dementia experience. Thinking outside the box and developing creative solutions to problems is one of her strongest qualities. In her spare time, Brandy is a beekeeper, loves to go sailing, and is a very proud mom of two amazing and creative boys!
DONNA SINGLEY Business Office Manager
Donna is a native of Ellicott City, Maryland and a graduate of Howard High School. Her past experience includes working in the general accounting department for a major retailer and also in the business office for a nursing home. She joined Senior Commons in March of 1987. Donna’s interests include gardening, baking and knitting. She is an avid Baltimore Ravens football fan.
KATHLEEN SHAFFER Business Office Assistant
Kathleen is a graduate of Red Lion Senior High School. She worked in daycare facilities for five years. Kathleen began her career at Senior Commons at Powder Mill in April of 1998 as a housekeeper and was appointed to Business Office Assistant in October of 2003. Kathleen feels blessed to be a part of the residents' lives who consider Senior Commons their home. She loves being outdoors and spending time with her family.
LAURA BAKER Activities Director
I was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania. I love working in Personal Care and I have been working with seniors for 13 years; five of those as an Activity Director. I have two amazing daughters, Katerina and Natasha. I am a complete nerd and love diving into conversations about Dr. Who, Star Wars, or many other nerd topics. I also love to do crafts and spend time with my wonderful residents! I am so excited to work at Senior Commons at Powder Mill and be able to have the opportunity to brighten our resident’s day!
AMY DETTINGER Director of Dining Services
Amy has worked in the food industry since 1975 and is ServSafe® certified. She graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College with a Culinary Degree in 2006. Amy has been providing services to older adults in personal care facilities since December 1999. She is also working towards her degree in business studies in her spare time.
BRADLEY TOPPER Director of Maintenance & Housekeeping Services
Bradley has over 25 years in the maintenance and construction industry with a plumbing background. He obtained his Journeyman’s Plumbing License in 1988. Bradley has worked in the personal care industry since October 1999. Bradley is an avid New York Yankees fan. Originally from Gettysburg, Bradley lives in Hanover with his wife and son.
